Role – Manager, Planning and Strategic Alliances, NDTV Convergence Ltd
About the Company: NDTV Convergence is the digital arm of the NDTV Group and is responsible for all Group initiatives in the new media space. It owns and operates all the group websites and mobile portals including but not limited to www.ndtv.com, www.ndtvprofit.com etc.
Responsibilities of this Role:
1. Financial modeling and creation of business plans for new projects
2. Create and send reports to key stakeholders on performance metrics
3. Ability to create market scenario reports and other presentations
4. Create new revenue streams to meet revenue target assigned
5. Identify and qualify strategic web alliance partners and develop existing plus new product categories / verticals on web portal (NDTV.com) and Mobile WAP platform
6. Relationship Management with Key partners
7. Negotiating and closing contracts with alliance partners
8. Work closely with internal teams to ensure product launch and marketing
9. Market Intelligence: Analyze business & market trends and identify new ideas for business growth
Skills Required:
1. MBA from a reputed institute
2. Highly proficient in Office products
3. Ability to create commercial proposals and business plans
4. In-depth knowledge of the new media ecosystem with good understanding of revenue models
5. Be a self starter and have the ability to work in a start up environment
6. Keen eye for detail and ability to negotiate and close contracts
